Mott MacDonald scored higher than any other large
multi-disciplinary consultant in TfL Group Services’ 2006
evaluation of supplier performance.
Group Services asked 140 TfL project managers to rate 20
consultants against various attributes on 249 projects over £80,000
in fee value, commissioned between Spring 2005 and Autumn 2006.
The results placed Mott MacDonald:
- First among the 10 largest consultancies
- First out of 20 for capability, knowledge and
experience
- Joint first out of 20 for quality of output
- Second out of the 15 multi-disciplinary suppliers
- Third out of 20 overall
TfL project managers rated us either very good or good for:
- Understanding client needs – 100% of our projects
- Capability, knowledge and experience – 100% of our
projects
- Quality of output – over 95% of our projects
- Responsiveness – over 95% of our projects
Other attributes for which we were highly rated include:
- Project management
- Dependability and reliability
- Delivery to specification and milestone
Giving an overall mark of 4.3 out of 5, our scores covered all
seven TfL modes – Surface Transport, London Underground, London
Rail, TfL Corporate, Major Projects, London Buses and DLR.
The survey was conducted independently and the information
benchmarked with BAA, Highways Agency, Network Rail and Environment
Agency.
